Let's make sure
bias isn't
running the show.
Matthew Cahill works with leaders who question themselves — not those who can't be questioned. Executive coaching, peer advisory, and mediation for the decisions that actually matter.
About Matthew
A trusted space
for the conversations
that feel hardest
to have anywhere else.
Matthew J. Cahill is an executive coach and consultant with more than 15 years of experience guiding leaders across businesses of every size. He builds workplaces that are more effective, efficient, and human-centered.
He is the CEO and Principal Consultant for the Percipio Company. He serves as Chair of three peer advisory groups and collaborates with other trusted advisors for more complex projects. His work is grounded in a single conviction: if you have a brain, you have bias® and understanding cognitive bias is the first step to leading with greater clarity, resilience, and intention.
Clients seek him out because he creates something rare: a trusted space for honest reflection and clearer thinking. Through his Trusted Advisory Groups™, leaders gain perspective, challenge their blind spots, and examine the patterns shaping their decisions. Introspection is often the last place many CEOs have time, permission, or support to go.
Matthew is also a trained mediator grounded in restorative practice — working with executive pairs, leadership teams, and cross-functional disputes where the formal processes have run out of runway and the people still need to share a building.

How Matthew
works.
Frameworks are designed by meeting clients where they are and guiding them to where they need to be. The work is diagnostic, honest, and grounded in what's actually happening. Not what the org chart says is supposed to be.
Most leaders arrive with a presenting issue that is not the real issue. Matthew's first job is diagnostic — understanding what is actually constraining the system, not what has been named.
He rarely tells. He asks — precisely, persistently, and with enough patience to let the silence do work. The questions are designed to surface what the leader already knows but hasn't let themselves see.
Insight without behavior change is entertainment. Every engagement ends with a concrete, honest understanding of what needs to shift — and who needs to shift it.
Workplace Relations Structured Mediation
When the relationship
is the real risk.
Some organizational conflicts resolve themselves. Most don't — they calcify. The longer they run, the more expensive they become: in productivity, in legal exposure, in the quiet departures that never show up in exit interviews.
Matthew brings a restorative approach to workplace mediation. Not punitive. Not arbitration. A structured process that surfaces underlying dynamics, rebuilds functional working relationships where possible, and creates durable agreements about how people will operate together going forward.
He works with executive pairs, leadership teams, and cross-functional disputes — particularly in situations where the formal HR process has run out of runway and the parties still need to share a building.
There's nothing else
quite like the power
of a Trusted Advisory
Group™.
A confidential peer advisory forum for CEOs, founders, and senior executives. Not networking. Not group coaching. A curated group of leaders with no agenda other than each other's success — meeting monthly, speaking candidly, thinking more clearly.

Step away
from the noise.
Step into
perspective.
When leaders step outside their daily environment, perspective expands — and new possibilities emerge.
Four days in the historic Veneto region, just a short drive from Venice. Morning sessions for facilitated peer dialogue — structured, honest, and built on the context you've already established. Afternoons open to Prosecco vineyards, CastelBrando Spa, and exceptional regional dining. The familiar cues of your operating context disappear. Strategic thinking expands.
